First Federal has an ATM located in the first drive-thru lane at our 679 Fox Rd. location and in both lanes (ITM) at 820 N. Washington St., and are open 24/7!
Our ATMs accept Mastercard, Plus, Maestro, Cirrus, Pulse, Visa, and Discover card networks. First Federal’s Debit Card allows you to withdraw, deposit*, or transfer funds anytime of day. First Federal’s cards have access to the Mastercard, Cirrus and PULSE networks.

First Federal of Van Wert now offers ITM’s located in the drive-thru lanes at our 820 N. Washington St. location. This new, modern banking technology allows for a quicker, more convenient way to bank with us!

How to use the ITM:
Drive-up to the ITM and you will either touch the screen for a LIVE Teller or tap/insert your Debit Card to use the ATM. Touch the screen or Insert/Tap your card to use the ATM. That is it!
During normal business hours the ITM is connected to a LIVE Teller, after hours the ITMs become ATMs. The LIVE Teller will ask you to verify your account, and you can do so by:
– Drivers License
– entering your Social Security number
– entering your Account number

Simply insert or tap your Debit Card and follow the on screen directions. The ITMs are also 24/7 ATMs!
What kind of transaction can I have with the LIVE Teller and the ITM?
Deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, review your account balance, and cashing checks. The ITMs are able to accept cash & paper (signed checks, loan payments) but not coin. However, the ITM will give back change per the transaction. No loose or rolled coin will be accepted, please come inside for our coin machine and teller assistance.
Is it really quicker to use the ITM?
A traditional tube system transaction typically takes 4-12+ minutes, whereas the ITM transaction time is cut in half with 2-6+ minutes.

The ITMs are quick, easy & friendly to use, not to mention you will have a LIVE Teller to assist you (during normal business hours) through every step of your banking transaction(s). Save time and set up Automatic Fund Transfers to various bank accounts.
Your money can automatically be set up to transfer to any First Federal Checking, Savings, Christmas Club, or Loan Account. Once your transfers are set up, they’ll take place automatically, every week, every month or whichever schedule you would prefer. For most convenience, go to your online banking account and set up your automatic transfers. It will help you save!
First Federal will accept your deposit or loan payment by mail. Your transaction will be handled promptly, and a receipt will be mailed back to you upon your request.

To ensure the security of your personal information, your signature is required to change your address. Click here to download your form. Simply print and complete all the applicable information. When you have completed the form, drop off the signed Address Change Request Form at our office, mail it to us at the address on the top of the form, or fax it to us at (419) 238-6485.
In our Lobby area, we offer a Coin Machine for cashing in that loose change that you have been saving!
This service is FREE for First Federal of Van Wert customers, non-customers will be charged a 10% fee of the total amount.
First Federal offers convenient drive-thru banking at both locations! Also, drive-thru hours are extended beyond the regular lobby hours.

820 N. Washington St. Location = The night depository is located on the North side of the building, near the front doors, and the ATMs are available in the drive-thru area.
Money Orders or Cashier’s Checks are available at our office for a small fee. Cashier’s Checks are usually accepted just like a certified check with much less cost to you!
Night depository service is available at First Federal. If you need to bank with us after business hours, just drop your transaction in our night deposit box and we will process it the next business day for you.

First Federal has partnered with Main Street Checks to offer reordering of checks online. Check reorders will be sent to the mailing address on your account and a charge for the order will appear on your account. Checks may not be able to be reordered online in some situations.

First Federal of Van Wert offers Safe Deposit Boxes for your convenience. With various sizes available, your valuables and important documents are secure in one of our Safe Deposit Boxes. The annual rent is due when opened and billed annually thereafter through automatic debit from a First Federal account.*
