Dear First Federal of Van Wert Customers and Community Members,

I wanted to start this message with a humbling Thank You to the Van Wert community. It is an honor to be awarded the Van Wert Reader’s Choice Best Bank again this year. On behalf of my team, my Board, and myself, Thank You Van Wert!

All of us at First Federal share a mission – take care of our community and our customers. This award reinforces my belief that our staff is the best at helping our customers and our community with their banking needs. So, I want to thank my team as well… fantastic job team!!

The personal touch you receive at First Federal of Van Wert will not be lost anytime soon. Customer service has to be our best product! It is not a slogan or a bunch of words slapped on a wall. It is what we talk about at our meetings and our communications. Our customers are not numbers or statistics. Our customers are people we live next to, people we go to church with, people we see at community events, and people we want to succeed.

We aim to provide a better banking experience for all of our customers. Our offices & lobbies at both locations are open Monday through Saturday during posted hours when you can stop by to see familiar, friendly faces. We have our Interactive Teller Machines (ITM) available Monday through Saturday for fast, friendly, drive-thru service at both locations. If you need a tutorial on the ITM services, our staff is here to assist.

I wrap up this message with another Thank You. We know banking options are everywhere and anywhere. But what sets us apart is our staff, and their attention to our customers. I am proud of my team for what they do for our customers and our community. We do not take this award lightly, but I am proud of this accomplishment because it reinforces our mission – taking care of our customers and community. Thank you, Van Wert, for this honor!
