There are a lot of exciting things happening in the Van Wert community and at First Federal! The downtown renovation project is currently in Phase 2, with more housing and restaurant options available. Northwest State Community College is close to opening their doors for valued education options. There is also continued industrial growth on the North side of the city.
At First Federal, we have successfully transitioned to an improved and more robust system. We can now offer a better banking experience with our website, Mobile App, and our cards. First Federal also rolled out our new logo, which reinforced our commitment to the Van Wert community.
But we are not done yet. On August 18th, we will be opening our second Van Wert location at 820 N. Washington Street. The new branch is an example of our commitment to the Van Wert community, as we believe in the future of Van Wert and we are dedicated to helping the community thrive!
The 820 N. Washington location will offer the same banking products and similar services that we offer at our headquarters at 679 Fox Road. Inside the branch, you will find familiar smiling faces as some of our team will move to this location. Stephanie Phillips will be managing our branch and she and her team will be providing excellent customer service that is familiar to First Fed customers.
We will also be utilizing Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) in our drive-through area. The ITMs can provide the same customer-facing services that a regular drive through provides, but quicker. This newer technology allows customers to choose between ATM transactions or talking to a live CSR during business hours. After business hours, the ITM is simply an ATM.
The staff and the directors at First Federal are excited about this next chapter in our long history of community banking. None of this would be possible without your continued support.
