I often get asked questions about banking and products. I thought I would share some. One question I hear often is, ‘What is your bank’s best product?’ And that’s an easy answer – customer service. At First Federal, we strive to make every customer experience a positive one. We do that by making sure that customer service is our best product! It does not matter who you talk to or which location you go to, providing great customer service is our combined goal. I applaud my team for their efforts because they are truly the best at helping our customers and community.
Another question is, ‘How hard is it to switch banks?’ or ‘How do I bring my checking account to your bank?’ While every customer has unique needs and assorted products, it’s actually not hard at all to switch banks. My experienced and talented staff assist community members and new customers every week by opening accounts and making new friends. It may seem daunting to some to move a checking account to another bank, but we are always here to help…and we’ll make it easy for you!
The last topic I will share deals with fraud. Unfortunately, it is too common and there are many questions about it. This can be a scary topic because the fraudsters try different methods. The bad guys may try to get your information via phone, email, browser, and even mail. But their goal is to either gain access to your computer, gain access to your essential information, or just have you send them money. While this may seem scary, trust no one that you do not already trust. As a bank, we already have your information, and we are committed to keeping it secure. We will NOT ask you for it. If you receive a phone call from a bank or a credit card company asking you for information, hang up! You can always call that company back via a trusted telephone number on the back of your card or on your statement. I will leave you with advice I always tell my staff…stay vigilant!
